Food and Essentials Donations
We believe food should not be wasted and that nobody should have to choose between heating and eating. You can help prevent these things by donating food and essentials to our Food Bank & Larder.
Yes please! - we welcome donations of unopened food & essentials and surplus produce, especially any of the following:
Food
Tins of: Fruit, Rice Pudding, Tuna, Meats – (e.g. stews, meatballs, curries), Hot Dogs, Peas, Carrots, Sweetcorn, Baked Beans, Tomatoes.
‘Weetabix’ or own brand equivalent, other breakfast cereals
Coffee, Tea, squash, UHT milk
Jam, Marmalade or Lemon Curd,
Pasta sauces, Instant Mashed Potato
Biscuits, Puddings, Jellies, ‘Angel Delight’
Toiletries and other essentials
We are happy to take soap, shampoo, shower gel, disposable razors, deodorants, handy packs of tissues, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary items, washing-up liquid, washing powder.
Thanks, but no thanks!
We don’t want to appear fussy but unfortunately with the exception of jams & marmalades, we are unable to accept 'home-cooked' items.
